Kennebunkport: A Tasty Lunchtime Walking Tour

Offered Monday to Saturday, June - October!

Join us for lunch and a historic walking tour of Kennebunkport and Lower Village!

The area has been home to those who make their living on the sea for centuries and it has been a popular destination for visitors from Maine and "from away" who love the history, beautiful beaches and plentiful outdoor activities. In recent years, the culinary scene has exploded and has attracted nationally renowned chefs, gourmet catering companies, craft brewers and award winning food artisans.

This tour takes a leisurely half mile stroll from Dock Square across the bridge into the lower village as you taste all along the way what it means to be from Maine. Our friendly and knowledgeable guides take you to a variety of artisanal shops, restaurants or pubs where we will dine or grab "for the road" sips and bites featuring Maine's culinary history and vibrant food scene.

Tours vary and tastes of the Port samplings will be equivalent to a lunch and MAY include the following:

  • Fresh locally caught lobster rolls
  • Maine clam or fish “Chowdah”
  • Craft brewed ales or fruit sodas
  • Tasty fresh fruit smoothies
  • Fresh roasted coffees with local roaster and house baked daily macaroons
