Portland: Old Port Seafood Lovers Lunch

Maine has such a vibrant seafood scene sourced locally on our waterfront by talented and tough lobstermen and fishermen working year-round.

On this tour, you'll enjoy a variety of fresh seafood, including familiar classics, like the lobster roll and chowders, to modern fare, while you learn about the harvesting and hard work that brings the bounty to your table.

You will visit Portland’s vibrant working waterfront to view lobster boats often unloading their catch, and walk the historic wharves as we share their history dating back 200 years.

We'll visit a mix of the Old Port and waterfront destinations for a filling, progressive lunch. Along the route, you'll learn about the life of lobsters dwelling on the ocean floor and how hardy lobstermen and women haul in millions of pounds each year. How is Maine able to sustain a catch this size year after year? We will show you this and share much more!

A: Yes! We're a family friendly tour, all ages are welcome! We don't encourage the use of strollers due to the size of many of our food and beverage partners spaces, but if one is necessary, the smallest possible size of umbrella/collapsable stroller is best.
