About

The smell of gunpowder fills the air as you lock into the target, ready, pull, fire. Sporting Clays typically referred to as golf with a shotgun, is a great experience for everyone. As you blast your way through the course, your guide will provide you with the necessary knowledge, skills, equipment, and safety to order to successfully break the clay pigeons. Shooting trips are located at one of our many nearby shooting grounds, selected based on accessibility, and weather conditions. Shooting grounds are located within a 30-minute radius of Hershey, PA. If you have preferred shooting grounds, please make us aware upon booking.

Adventure Explorations sport-shooting experiences are a can't miss choice. With top-of-the-line equipment, knowledgeable, approachable instructors, and excellent facilities Adventure Explorations will be sure to help you find success. If you have never shot a gun, shot in the backyard, or are a seasoned veteran, we have a trip for you.

Where

Adventure Explorations trips take place within a 45-minute radius of Hershey, Pennsylvania. For most experiences, you will meet your guide at our Outfitter located behind the Hershey Hotel (100 Hotel Rd, Hershey, PA 17033). Your guide will get your group outfitted for the day and you will head out on your adventure. Occasionally your guide will coordinate to meet your group at the trip location and will bring all the necessary equipment with them. If this is the case you will be notified 48 hours prior to your adventure.

Activity locations vary based on the season, weather, group size, and more.

If you have a preferred location please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to meet your request. 

What to Bring

  • Jeans, t-shirt or collared shift are all appropriate
  • A sturdy pair of hiking boots/shoes
  • A rain jacket and an insulating layer. 

If you do not have any of this equipment, please inform your guide, and we will be provided whatever we can for you.  

In addition, please bring:
- Sunscreen  
- Bug spray  
- Sunglasses  
- Sun protection 

Optional
- Personal firearm 
- Personal eye-protection  
- Personal ear-protection  
- Personal shooting vest/ammo pouch 

Please Note:

We are trying to do our part to help the environment, starting this season we will be kicking plastic. If you would please help by providing your own bottle it would be a huge help. We will have cold filtered water to refill your bottles with. If you don't have one or forget yours no worries. We will have water available. 

Gratuity:

Tips are not required but highly suggested, your guide works very hard to make your trip top-notch. It’s customary to present a 10-20% tip to your guide.
