More details

This nature tour is great for all ages! With over 170 residential Atlantic bottlenose dolphins and around 400 nomadic dolphins passing through Hilton Head waters, its no wonder dolphin sightings are so much fun.

As you join us in the golden hour you will get to see a beautiful sunset over the water as well as some great wildlife. We will explore the waters around Pinckney Island National Wildlife refuge and down to Calibogue Sound in search of dolphins.

Our tour guide knows most of our local dolphins by name and will introduce you to them as we come across them. We will teach you how to tell them apart, too! Not only will you get to know the dolphins as individuals, but you will also learn about bottlenose dolphins as a species and how they adapt to our local low country ecosystem.

With this tour you will get 90-120 minutes to relax on the water and take in the natural sites. Our boat holds up to 24 people and sits low to the water for optimal viewing on this dolphin watching cruise.

As we cruise around the waters on this dolphin nature tour we may see: dolphins, birds such as Bald Eagle, Pelican, Great Blue Heron, Egret, Wood Stork, Spoonbill and more, Sea Turtles, Alligators, Manatees, Sharks, Sting Rays, Blue Crabs, and more.

If you have a larger group or would like a private boat we do offer private tours. If you want a daytime dolphin tour you can join us on our Dolphin Experience Tour.
